Kids teaching kids to build computers.
A free, student-led summer camp in Palm Beach County. Every camper builds a real PC with a 7th grader teaching them, and takes it home.
Three summersof camp.
What a camp week is
Meet the parts
Every box opened on the table. A teacher holds up each part and says what it does. Campers hold them next.

Build
Processor, cooler, memory and drive onto the board. The board into the case. Power supply wired in, one cable at a time.

First boot
Graphics card in. Monitor on. The second it posts, the whole table knows.

Set it up
Windows from a USB stick the teachers made in training. Drivers, updates, the camper's own account, the software they want.

AI, locally
A language model running on the card they installed, no internet needed, and a plain explanation of what it's doing. Then the computer goes home.

Every build runs AI locally
Each camper's computer has a dedicated graphics card. We keep it on purpose: it plays games, it's one more part to learn, and it runs a real language model locally on the last day of camp.
Campers watch the model answer on their own screen, with the network cable out, and learn what it is actually doing. Then they get set up with the free tiers of the big AI tools, so the computer they built is the computer they'll do homework on.

Computers funded for Summer 2027
KTK has funded its builds with help from a few companies and one early donor. This summer is twice the size of the last.
Summer 2027 is fully funded
All fifty computers for this summer are paid for. Donations open again ahead of the next camp.
